I began exploring my creativity as a child through writing at around the age of 13. I enjoyed writing for many years. Writing led to music around 2007-2016, when I wrote both lyrics and created melodies for original songs while performing in local bands in the Bay Area, CA. New Mexico provided the inspiration to branch out my creativity through watercolor painting when I moved here in 2017.
I found myself drawn to the colors and textures of watercolor pigments, particularly those made of earth, gemstones, and minerals. As a self-taught artist, I exclusively use these pigments, returning to the way I approached writing as a child, without rules or boundaries. It is with this boundless imagination that I observe the different elements and textures of natural pigments as they dance with water from brush to paper.

Each pigment mesmerizes me in a movement of its own until it dries to stillness.
The pigments I use are sourced from small batch artisans. Being a part of this cycle, of maker supporting maker, is an essential part of my practice, allowing me to feel more connected to the materials I work with.

In 2019, I held my first solo exhibit, The Alchemy of Earth into Fire, at the Fuller Lodge Art Center in Los Alamos, NM. I have had several pieces shown around Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. Currently, my piece, Majestic Triangles, is being shown in Electra Gallery in Santa Fe for the “Magic in Art” show through January 2026.
